Psalm 33:18
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love,

Your hope isn’t found in getting married, or finding a new job or in new clothes or in winning the lottery! Your hope will only be found in God! There’s nothing wrong with getting married of course if God brings that right person into your life and there’s nothing wrong with finding a new job or in buying new clothes when you can (Personally, I would leave the lottery alone, some people spend way too much money trying to win something that has ridiculous odds and it becomes a hinderance and addiction when they could be focused on God) God is your hope! There’s just simply no other way to put it!

When you take your focus off God, you will lose your hope! Job 8:13 says, “Such are the paths of all who forget God; the hope of the godless shall perish.” God is hope! God loves you and He cares about everything that happens in your life! He is a God of details! Nothing escapes His notice! He is the God who sees! The God who knows the future! He sees the big picture and He knows what happens right now and what job you have right now, and whether or not you are married or have children right now will affect what happens next. That doesn’t mean that He doesn’t want those things for you, so don’t grab on to the negative here! It could very well mean that, that is His plan! His answer for you may be here! That man you are supposed to be married to may be at that new job or church, that child you are waiting for could be conceived by Christmas, you know that if you have a wayward child that it is the will of God for them to turn back to Him so you just keep pouring your heart out to God for Him to draw him/her back to Him, He wants that even more than you do! There is always hope, when you put your trust in God! Don’t buy satan’s lies! Don’t allow what you see today discourage you because your hope is found in the God of all the Universe! Nothing is too difficult for Him! Nothing!

Please allow me to encourage you today to turn on some praise and worship music, don’t turn on the sad stuff that makes you focus on the heartache and problems. Turn on some music that will boost you up and remind you of the amazing, wonderful, powerful God you serve and hold on to every ounce of hope that is found in Him! The best is yet to come!
