2 Corinthians 6: 16b
For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.” Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

You are the temple of the living God if you have accepted Him as your Savior. You are called to be holy because He is holy. He loves you and wants to have that close relationship with you that allows Him to be a Dad to you and to walk with you through all of life’s journeys! He doesn’t want you to go it alone but you have to choose to live a life of fellowship with Him, He won’t force it on you! You are called to it and if you truly want God’s blessing on your life and success in what He has called you to, then you need to seek Him with your whole heart. Satan would love to distract you and lead you down another path so focus on God and claim victory over the struggles you face because you know that God is going before you and He has a plan!

Don’t be afraid to be different! The world is a bit upside down and backward right now and there’s so much hate and anger it is disturbing! Everyone wonders where all of the hate and anger comes from, but it is obvious that Satan has utilized anger and hatred to get people to destroy people! Satan absolutely hates mankind and he will use whatever tool he can to get us to be against each other. I mean seriously, there are people who hate other people just based on the color of their skin and yet are the first ones out there to run and use a tanning bed in order to have their color skin! I have also been on the other end of being disliked just because I am white, actually as my parents used to say, “we are more of a Heinz 57 variety” and I have ancestors who were hated because they are Native American Indian. Does that make an ounce of sense? How can we hate people just because they are a different nationality or color? God created everyone and He has a purpose for their lives just like He does yours so dare to be different and be that person who reaches out to help everyone, regardless of the differences, to be all they can be for God. And on the other side of that, don’t allow your nationality to be what holds you back from all that God has created you to be because you are more focused on that, than you are Him! Nothing is too difficult for the Lord and He can move that mountain that is in your way, He can overcome any obstacle that man creates. God has called you to be holy because He is holy and that’s all there is to it! No excuses and no choosing which areas you will be holy in, just follow Him and allow Him to work in your heart and life!

Choose victory today! Choose success and blessing over holding on to any hate or anger and unforgiveness in your life! Choose to forgive! Choose to follow God on a whole new level, allowing His Spirit to work in you, helping you to be all He created you to be! Choose to make Him your focus in all you do and you will see that the best is yet to come!
