Ephesians 5:1-2. Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.  And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

You are not always necessarily going to “feel” like showing love to some people, but according to these verses, you are to do it anyhow.  You cannot base what you do on how you feel.  Your feelings will always tend to lead you down a wrong path because you are human, you need to imitate God!  Ask Him for His love when you aren’t “feeling it”!  You need to guide your feelings and check them at the door of your mind, you just can’t base what you say and do strictly on how you feel.  Feelings are like a two-year-old; you don’t want them driving your car but you aren’t going to put them in the trunk either!

If you ask God to fill you with His love and ask Him to help you walk in it, you will be amazed at how much easier it is to love people!  Ladies, this is really something that needs to happen more between us!  The “catfights” need to stop!  You don’t have to be jealous of what she looks like, what she does or says!  There isn’t a woman on earth who has anything over you if you are following God and doing what He has called you to!  We are called to love each other!  Satan loves to pit women against women because he knows if we come together we are a force to be reckoned with.  No more!  Let’s start coming together to fight this battle together!  Don’t you dare flirt with someone else’s husband!  If another woman’s husband has the nerve to flirt with you, put that man in his place!  If he would cheat on her, he will cheat on you!  There is nothing flattering about a man who will flirt with you at the expense of the woman he is with!  Remember Eleanor Roosevelt’s saying:  “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent!”  Let’s start praying for more love for each other!  Let’s make sure we have each other’s backs!

The world is starving for love!  Let’s all pursue showing more of God’s love to all those around us!  Ask God to show you even little things that you can do that will show His love for them!  Trust me, it won’t hurt you to reach out in love to others, it will actually bless you beyond what you can imagine!  Ask Him today to fill you with His love for people so that they can see that, in Him, the best is yet to come for them as well!
