Hebrews 11:1  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Do you overestimate or underestimate God’s abilities in your life?  Way too often I find that I  underestimate God in my life!  How sad is it that we could ever underestimate His power in our lives!  Here He is, the creator of everything and we can be foolish enough to underestimate what He can do in our lives if we just give Him the chance!

We see the circumstances around us, where we’ve been and where we think we are going and He sees the whole picture, yet there are too many times in all of our lives that we take control instead of trusting Him to do what is best for us.  It is rather silly for us to truly think that we could be better off in our own hands than in God’s!  Just exactly what do we have the ability to do that God can’t or why would He come up with a lesser plan for you than you have for yourself?  Think about  Mary and Martha for a minute and how disappointed they were that Jesus didn’t show up to heal Lazarus, they were looking for a healing and Jesus was planning a resurrection!

Don’t underestimate what God can do!  Just keep on being faithful and doing what He has called you to do!  He has bigger plans for you than you would have planned by yourself.  Don’t give up, get excited and trust Him to fulfill all the plans He has for your life!
