“Faith That Springs From Conflict is Often The Strongest and Best”

Psalm 119:143-144
Trouble and anguish have found me out, but your commandments are my delight. Your testimonies are righteous forever; give me understanding that I may live.

Do you need some clarity for what God is doing in your life right now? Do you feel as though truly trouble and anguish have found you, not only has it found you but it has run you over? Ask God to show you what you need to know and to give you understanding so you can “live” again.

God has a purpose for even the most crazy things that go on in your life when you are following Him. You may feel as though this is the worst day of your life and yet it may be what it is going to take to bring everything together so don’t lose hope now. It is ‘darkest before the dawn’ so if it seems to be worse than anything you have seen so far your answer must be closer than you think.

Hold on to Jeremiah 29:11 today and trust that all that God says in His word is true, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for good and not for evil to give you a future and a hope.” Hold onto those words! They are meant for you! God loves you and He didn’t bring you to this point or place to leave you on your own or to bring you harm, He wants you to have hope and He wants you to trust Hm to use you to the best of your ability that He has created in you!

Remind yourself as the Psalmist did here of God’s goodness – “your testimonies are righteous forever” and then press forward today asking for His understanding of your situation. God has promised to reveal to us things we don’t know and understand so ask when you need His wisdom for all the things you don’t get. Jeremiah 33:3 says, “call to me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” This may not have necessarily been God’s plan but if He has allowed it He will also use it for His and Your good! The best is yet to come..
