God is Always Trustworthy

img

Psalm 85: 11-12   For the Lord God is a sun and shield:  the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.  O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

We live in a world of hurt and pain that is most often brought on by other people which in turn breaks down the ability to trust at times.  The key is to not allow that to interfere with trusting God.

We cannot allow ourselves to take the things that happen to us along the way and allow our minds to transfer the lack of trust we feel over to God.  God wants what is good for us and wants to bless us beyond our imagination.  We are responsible for our behavior that puts us in the way of blessing.  We need to walk uprightly and follow God’s will for our lives in order to receive the blessing He has for us.  I have always tried to teach my children that if they are not living for God then they cannot fully expect His blessing on their lives.  If we aren’t obedient in our handling of money by tithing and following good Godly principles then we cannot expect His blessings of anything above what we are able to handle right now.

God blesses us with what we are able to handle so we need to continue in our growth in order to reach new levels spiritually and in every other area of our lives.  Pray for God’s blessing on your life and expect it and at the same time expect Him to work on growing you up in every area of your life as well to prepare you for all He has in store for you!
