God’s Desire is for You To Have Victory

Ezekiel 18:23   Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked declares the Lord God, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live?

God is never excited to see someone die in their sin!  His will is for all to come to repentance!  This verse is from before Jesus had died on the cross for our sins so they weren’t even living in grace yet, but God has always preferred that we turn from our sinful ways and follow Him so we can have life through Him.

Are you struggling in an area that you want to just ignore this morning?  God would love to give you victory today.  He doesn’t want to see you struggle and He is looking to be able to bless you but you have to make the decision to give it all to Him.  Sometimes it is that “secret sin” that keeps us from God’s blessing.  When we hide our sin we are not only hurting ourselves but we are holding God’s blessing back from our family.  Jesus blood will cover a multitude of sins but when we choose to cover it ourselves it grows and festers and becomes a thick wall blocking us from the blessings of God on our lives.  We cannot have a closeness to God and hold on to sin in our lives.  We cannot have it both ways; live the way we choose and make our own rules and have God’s blessing.  You have to choose who you will serve, yourself or God.

Is there someone you know who is struggling today that you could reach out to and instead of judgment can you take a moment to show them the love of Christ?  If you are struggling giving God every area of your life today, I would encourage you to trust Him with whatever it is and let it go.  The only way you can live life to it’s fullest and have God’s full blessing on your life is for you to trust Him and allow Him to work in every area of your life, don’t hold anything back.  God is the only one who can fill every void in your life.
