Deuteronomy 13:4   “You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.”

We cannot pick and choose when we will follow God and all that He has commanded us in His word to do.  We need to choose to do right no matter what is going on around us.  This is not a request ladies, it is a command.  Just because things are going wrong around you doesn’t mean you can behave however you want.

We have a choice every day when we get up to determine what kind of attitude we will have.  Just because we are tired of where we are in life or what is going on we are not excused to behave any old way we choose, we are commanded to obey God, serve Him and do all that He has said.  We are to hold fast to Him when things are going as we feel they should and when they aren’t.

Have you ever gotten so frustrated over your situation that you decided to take things into your own hands and do what you want?  That’s a bad place to be, not only are you bolting ahead with your own will you are missing out on God’s best.  God has a reason for where you are whether it is obvious to you or not.  There are times we are left in a particular season of life so we can grow in Him and learn to trust Him more.

What season are you in?  Let me encourage you, no matter where you are today to “walk after the Lord your God and fear Him, keep His commandments and obey His voice and serve HIm and hold fast to Him.”  Don’t miss out on God’s best by being anxious.  Focus on today and what God has called you to do today.  Follow Him, allow His voice to not only guide you but to be your comfort today.  You have a choice.
