He Would Like To Fill You With His Joy

by | Nov 28, 2018

Isaiah 9:6. For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder.  And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Yay!  I love this time of year because there just seems to be a little more joy in the air than usual, but let’s focus on why!  It’s Him!!!  Jesus!  “Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Immanuel, God With Us!

Psalm 111:9, “He has sent redemption to His people; He has commanded His covenant forever:  Holy and awesome is His name!”

Psalm 135:3, “Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; Sing praises to His name for it is pleasant.”

Isaiah 48:2, “……, And learn of the God of Israel; The Lord of hosts is His name:

Matthew 1:21, “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

If you need something to lift your spirits today, allow who He is to fill your heart and mind!  He loves you and He is the God of all!  He cares and He wants to show Himself mighty in your life!  If your heart is heavy ask Him to fill you with His Joy.  I know first hand how difficult it can be to “survive” the holidays when your heart is overwhelmed with sorrow and loss, but you can know that God loves you beyond measure and His desire is to see things made right again in your life and for you to thrive again, not just survive!  Please know that He is working even if you can’t see it right now!  There’s not a tear you have cried that He hasn’t noticed and believe me, it has moved His heart to action.  Trust Him!

While you are out and about today, remember to “be nice”!  Show His love to those you encounter along the way!  Ask Him for His grace and love to fill your heart so it will flow out to those around you!  Hold on to His promises today!  If you aren’t a Christmas music fan, turn on some everyday praise music!  Ask Him to fill you with His presence, Joy and Hope knowing that His best is yet to come!
