John 13:26-27
Jesus answered, “It is he to whom I will give the morsel of bread when I have dipped it.” So when he had dipped the morsel, he gave it to Judas the son of Simon Iscariot. Then after he had taken the morsel, satan entered into him . Jesus said to him, “What you are going to do, do quickly.”

Have you ever felt an evil presence? It’s not a place you want to be!

When my children were little, my husband Andy and I lived at a Church camp for kids. At night, while he was at work there were times I could just feel something evil, that is not uncommon anywhere the Word of God is being taught because satan works day and night to war against anything of God. It got to the point though, where it bothered me so bad that I would go to bed early, like right after the kids were asleep so I wouldn’t have to deal with it because it terrified me! It took my realizing who I was in Christ and the power of God to get me past that, but my point here is that I could clearly feel the presence of evil and it was overwhelming!

If you notice in these verses above, satan, himself entered into Judas! Not just any demon, but satan himself and the disciples were totally unaware of his presence because of the presence of God in the room! Wow! You talk about power! Jesus didn’t even acknowledge him, he just simply said, “hurry up and go do what you are going to do.” Satan’s presence wasn’t even able to be felt in the presence of God! How awesome is that!

If you have ever wondered if you can overcome your fears, or overcome an addiction, think on this! If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, then His presence is always with you! If you need more of His power and presence in your life then you must hang out with Him more! The more time you spend with Him, the more you will feel His power and presence in your life! The more you know Him, the more confidence you will have to face what life throws at you! His presence in your life can give you all you need to live the life He has called you to. Trust Him, seek Him and learn to lean on Him when you are fearful or you need His strength. Know that with Him, the best is yet to come!
