Psalm 20:1
May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you!

What is going on when God seems silent? Do you ever have those days where you feel like you are praying and you know He is there but there seems to only be silence when you call on Him? You ask for answers and signs and yet the silence is deadening to the point where you feel as though maybe He is busy working on something else and if you aren’t careful Satan will try to sneak in during those times to make you feel as though you aren’t important to God and that God doesn’t care.

When you are waiting on God guard your thoughts and stand firm knowing that He is still working on your behalf and the answer is on it’s way. Sometimes our lessons we need to learn are in the “wait”. In other words we grow in trust when we are waiting and not allowing ourselves to move into panic mode, taking our problems on by ourselves and allowing the lies of Satan to cloud our understanding that God always has our best interest in mind and He is always in control as long as we allow Him to work in our lives!
Don’t get anxious, take one day at a time and allow God to move on your behalf and allow Him to grow you spiritually during the process.

This is my prayer for you today and I would encourage all who read this to pray that others who read it will have the same blessing on their lives:

“May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you! May he send you help from the sanctuary and give you support from Zion! May he remember all your offerings and regard with favor your burnt sacrifices! May he grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans! May we shout for joy over your salvation and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions! Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They collapse and fall, but we rise and stand upright. O Lord save the king! May he answer us when we call.” Psalm 20 Amen!
