Hope and Strength for Your Day!

by | Oct 4, 2012

Exodus 15:2  The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

Are you struggling trying to find the strength to make it through another day? Whether it is on the job, or in a relationship or heartache let me encourage you to put all of your hope this morning in God and allow Him to be your strength.

Start by filling your day with praise and worship music of whatever genre you may choose and take the time to praise God for who He is and start exalting Him in prayer by thanking Him for who He is and His mighty power in your life!  Take time out this morning to think about who He really His and His love for you.  Ask Him for the strength you need and for Him to fill you with the hope of all that He is about to do in your life even though you may not know what those things are.

When the battle is seemingly at it’s worst it is because Satan will always fight you harder the closer you get to a breakthrough.  He wants you to give up.  He wants to spit in the face of God and say “see, she couldn’t do it, I was right.”  Satan is wrong and you can do it and God will be there for you and He will give you the strength you need to make it through to His blessing and promise.  There are always challenges in our paths and most of those are there for our growth, how can you help someone else down the road if you haven’t grown up spiritually yourself?  True spiritual growth comes from totally relying on God to always be there and to always be working what is best in you regardless of what your circumstances at the time may look like.  It is always darkest before the dawn – trust me, I am looking out the window now and it is dark, but the light is about to peak over the horizon and it will be a beautiful fall day!  Hold on to Him because that is where your strength is going to come from and you don’t want to miss that beautiful sunrise in your life bursting over the horizon because you chose to give up!

God is good, God is always good!  Don’t allow Satan to lie to you as he did Eve to convince you that God doesn’t really have your best interest in mind.  God isn’t trying to withhold good from you, He just wants you to grow into the shoes He has for you to fill.  Ask Him what you need to learn today and trust Him for his strength and hope to fill your heart and life!  God loves you and the best is truly yet to come!  Give it all to Him today!
