If you Feel Like You are The “Least Likely” You Probably are God’s Chosen one for the Job!

Judges 6:15-16  And he said unto him, “Oh my Lord, how shall I save Israel?  Behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.”  And the Lord said unto him, “Surely I will be with you and you shall smite the Midianites as one man.”

Notice in these verses God uses the person who felt the least usable.  His family was poor and he was the last man on the bench in his family.  That would be equivalent to some poor peasant in England, poor and uneducated stepping up to overthrow Afghanistan right now!  He has no political experience and no leadership qualities to fall back on that would get others attention and make them want to follow him.  It was all GOD!  Every bit of Gideon’s victory was God and God took every step necessary to make sure that was the case.

Who do you see as “the least of these” around you?  Maybe you see yourself that way.  STOP!  Ask God to help you see yourself and others the way He does.  Ask Him for a sign if you are doubting; Gideon did.  Don’t hesitate to take a risk, stand tall be the leader if God has called you to it.  Also don’t hesitate to encourage someone else when they feel unworthy of the call of God on their life.

Claim your victory today!  You can do it!  Pour your heart out to God and hold fast to His promises.  The best is yet to come!
