Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
I don’t know what you are facing today but don’t allow the world’s view of life poison your thinking. Renew your mind with the thoughts God has about your situation. What hope does the world have if they see us as Christians handling situations the same way they do. Our hope and confidence is in God!
Renew your thoughts this morning by changing the way you think about your problems. Take all of the lies Satan is weighing you down with; “this will never work out, I will never find a job, I can’t handle this, I will never lose this weight, God will never come through for me” and replace them with: “with God ALL things are possible, I will find a great job in God’s timing because He knows just the one I need, I can do All things through Christ who strengthens me, God has my back because I am seeking Him and His will for my life.” It may sound crazy but I program reminders in my phone that go off all day long to remind myself of what I should be thinking and it is funny sometimes because of the timeliness of their alarms, it is often just the thought I need to change my attitude.
Spend some extra time in your Bible when you are really having a tough time changing your thoughts on something and find a good encouraging book to read while you put some quiet praise and worship music on in the background. Allow yourself to just soak in God’s love and presence and know that He does have it all under control. Ask Him to renew your mind about the situation and renew your hope for all that you face! He will be happy to do that! The best is always yet to come!
