Exodus 33:17

And the Lord said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou has spoken:  for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.

You have found grace in His sight!  Salvation is our first example of God’s grace but there is so much more!  God loves you with such an intense love that His ultimate goal for you is for you to be happy!

We as women sooooo long for that great romance where our knight in shining armor comes to sweep us off our feet and is even willing to risk his very life to rescue us because we play that role of someone he just can’t live without!  Let’s think about that for a minute…… Jesus came and gave His life to rescue us and truly just doesn’t want to ever for all eternity live without you!  You are beautiful in His sight and He loves you more than words can say!

Let that sink in for a minute.  We brush over that idea way too fast because we long for a body to hold us along with all of that.  Well, let me tell you this, it is great to have that man in your life to be able to physically hold you and love you but there is not a man on earth that is capable of loving you the way Jesus does!  God ordained the relationship with men and women but ultimately the only way that relationship is all it can be is when both of you put Christ first.

When we as women allow Jesus love for us to fully sink in and we realize our value based on Him then any other love and attention in our lives will be icing on the cake.  That “warm fuzzy” feeling we all look for in love relationships is available with God when you spend time with Him and allow Him to speak into your life.

He knows you by name, you are not just a number or some blur throughout creation, He knows you by name!  Claim His promises and ask Him to “do this thing that you have spoken.”  He loves you and He wants what is best for you and He has told us to come to His throne with boldness to make our petitions!

Don’t underestimate the relationship you can have with Him!  Try it today, when things get tough or you are frustrated or down, tell Him about it and allow Him to be there for you.
