1 Samuel 16:23     And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp and played with his hand so Saul was refreshed and was well and the evil spirit departed from him.

Do you ever just wake up on the “wrong side of the bed”?  I have had mornings where for some bizarre reason I woke up and just felt irritated.  I wasn’t angry with anyone and I had no real understanding of why I felt the way I did I just knew I was irritated and all the coffee and chocolate in the world wasn’t going to make a difference.  It was hard to read my Bible for my devotions and I was just not a pleasant person to be around.  What do you do in circumstances like that?  If you can’t put your finger on what is bothering you then how can you fix it?

May seem simplistic but you turn on some Praise and Worship music!  There is something about praise and worship music that just soothes the soul and spirit.  Just turn it on and soak it in until the uncomfortable ugly feeling goes away!

I have found if I am down, angry, frustrated or feeling any other negative feeling Praise and Worship music will just bring me to a whole other level of calm emotions.  If you find yourself struggling in any area and just need comfort or encouragement before you even start to pray or have your devotions try turning on some praise and worship music to set your mind to be open to what God has in store for you today.

Thank you so much for this simple reminder. After looking forward to the New Year for literally months, I spent most of New Year’s Day in a bad mood – and I had no idea why! (Okay, so the argument I had with my husband the day before probably had a LOT to do with it.) Still trying to shake that cranky, crabby, irritated feeling even today. Think I’ll put on some praise and “shake off those heavy bands, lift up those holy hands, and praise the Lord!”
    Bless you!

How do you always know what people want to hear every morning? It’s amazing how yiou always hit home to me. My morning started off very emotional. I don’t know why or what I was thinking on the way to work but all I wanted to do is cry.
So I cryed all morning. It was like GOD was trying to tell me something and my heart was sad. Then I kept hearing this little voice telling me that my journey in life was done on earth and it was time to go. My thoughts went to an older man at church who is fighting cancer. These thoughts have been with me all day. I have prayed for this man and his family. I don’t know where I am going with this, it’s just something I felt that I needed to release. Maybe GODs telling me to go and visit this family and say good bye.

I truly wish I did know what everyone needed. LOL But it truly is God who knows and loves you enough to give you what you need each day – I am glad I can be a tool in that process. God’s not done with you yet – you are still here and He has an incredible purpose for your life! 🙂 Thanks for sharing this morning!
      God Bless,
