Luke 12:25-27

Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life or one single cubit to your height?  Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

Obviously you believe God exists or you probably wouldn’t be reading this Bible study, but the question is; do you live as though He exists?  This thought really struck me when we were studying in our small group.  If I really believe God exists and has my best interest at heart and is truly interactive in my life then why do I often live as though I am on my own and worry about the things that I should be giving to God?  Why do I fear when I say, “Lord, do whatever it takes in my life to make me the woman of God you have called me to be”? This type of trust is taking it a step further than where we were yesterday.

Let that sink in for a moment.  Are you willing to say, “Lord, I am ready for you to work in my life in whatever way you see necessary in order to grow me into the woman I need to be in order to accomplish your will for my life”?

I don’t know about you but instantly Satan throws in some scary thoughts of all the horrific things that could possibly happen in my life that would be devastating that I don’t ever want to have to go through.  Satan is a liar!  That is Satan’s very nature but God’s nature is the opposite and lies go against His very nature.  God cannot lie and He says, “I will never leave you or forsake you!” (Hebrews 13:5), He also says that He will never put more on you than you can bear. (1 Cor. 10:13)  No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

God is good, God is ALWAYS good and He knows what is best for us.  I am choosing to pray for God to work in my life in whatever way necessary to help me to be all I can be for Him.  Are you willing to take that step with me?  Whatever it takes Lord, help me to become all I can be for you!  I long for the day that these words don’t scare the fire out of me because when I reach that place I will know that I fully trust Him.  I have to admit my first prayer for this was more of a prayer of “do whatever it takes as long as it isn’t this, or this or even that, OK God, do whatever it takes as long as it isn’t those things.  I am sure He was thinking, “ok Janet, come back when you trust me.”

It is time for us to dig our heals in and believe God and what He says is true in spite of how we may feel or what thoughts are running through our minds (don’t allow Satan to rule your thoughts with lies) or what your logic is saying.  We need to choose that He is in control and we know He is a faithful God and He will never fail us or let us down.  Whatever you are going through today trust that God will bring His promises to pass and that He is walking with you through this and you will come out on the other side a better woman of God if you allow Him to grow you through your circumstances.

It may not be that God will bring something into your life to help you grow He may just want you to recognize Him in your life as capable of working in your life and circumstances you are in right now if you will trust Him and give it all to Him today.  It isn’t always that we need more struggles sometimes it means giving Him the struggles you are facing today without holding anything back.

Satan has deceived the whole world Rev 12:9 by his words in the book of the knowledge of good and evil, the Bible Gen 3:22, 2 Cor 11:15
that have not been rightly divided 2 Tim 2:15.
The true word John 1:1 of God is now delivered Rev 12:5, 13 at the heel of time Gen 3:15 Please study this the truth sets all free.
Satans lies are exposed. Not even one child of God will be cast into a hell fire no matter what their sins. God is not a murderer. Love never fails.
Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess each in their own order Ps 82:6.

So, my first question for you if you believe there is no Hell, then why did Jesus die on the cross? Are you saying we can just pick and choose which verses in the Bible we believe because if you are then to you the Bible is just a book it isn’t really the Word of God himself!

Here are a few verses I would need to see someone explain away that are in the Bible concerning Hell:
      2 Peter 2:3-4
In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. 4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment;(just as it was the angels choice to sin and rebel against God and he sent them to Hell – He will send those who rebel and reject Him here on earth, it is His love that caused Him to give us a way out by sending His son to die on the cross so love did win, but you have to choose love instead of judgement!)

      Matthew 10:28
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

      Revelation 20:10
The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

      Revelation 21:8
But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

The definition of a “Child of God” is someone who has at some point in time given their life over to God and has asked for His forgiveness. We must acknowledge that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and accept Him as our Savior! God IS a loving God but He is also a HOLY God and cannot be in the presence of sin. It would be sad to see Satan win this battle and decieve people into believing that they don’t have to worry about Hell. To look at it as though God is not loving and as His being a murderer is silly because He gives you a choice! He created Hell for Satan and his fallen angels but we have to decide who we follow. I don’t know why people find it so difficult to understand that we have a choice just like everything else in life, God has given us a free will to decide whether we would like to spend eternity with Him in heaven or in Hell with Satan.

      God Bless,
