Ladies Bible Study Thursday, December 15th

Jeremiah 29:11  For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Don’t lose hope for your future.  I don’t know what loss you may have experienced but I do know that God has a plan!  It was tough for Bill and I to down size the ministry, but throughout the process God reassured us that it wasn’t really so much a downsize as it was a move in another direction.  God ALWAYS has a plan even if you have messed things up, God still has plan B, or C or D etc.  God hasn’t run out of ideas for your life!

God has brought me through several dark times where I was down and out and wasn’t sure how there could be anything ahead.  Through those times though I discovered potential I didn’t know was there.

Maybe you have been through a loss and you don’t see anything bright in your future.  It feels like people are walking on top of you.  You feel like you have been buried.  Just remember there is a process taking place.  God is preparing you for what He has next.

Don’t live with a chip on your shoulder.  Don’t dwell on your disappointments or on what didn’t work out.  Bitterness and self-pity will hinder your growth.  Focus on allowing God to heal your wounds and teach you the things you need to know for the next season in your life!  God is always good and He has a plan that is by far better than you can imagine.  So don’t give up now!  There’s blessing and your new direction just around the bend!
