Ladies Bible Study Wednesday, December 14th

Matthew 7:12-14   So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Ephesians 4:32   And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

When you read these verses who do you think of?  For me I find the first people that come to mind for some reason would be family, friends, people in the church, strangers, I sometimes almost look at these verses as a non-personal scenario.  What I mean by that is that I don’t look at these verses as being directed toward someone who has maybe done me wrong.

I had the privilege of talking with one of you the other day via blog and email and I was reminded of what terrible wounds we as women carry in our hearts because of other women.  Satan is winning a huge battle ladies where women are concerned because he has found ways to keep us apart.  It amazes me how mean women can be to each other not just behind their backs but often even face to face.  The disrespect that is shown between women at times is so appalling it is shameful to think that ladies who are children of the Most High God can even begin to think that is ok.  How sad it must make God to look down and see the beauty He created in each of us hidden by the hatefulness Satan has stirred among women through competition, deceit, backstabbing and just pure hatefulness.

It is time Ladies to take a stand!  Take a look around, is there a lady you know who could use an encouraging word or maybe she needs someone to take a stand and stop the gossip and reach out to help lift her up to become the godly woman she is called to be.  Stop saying things you don’t mean, be sincere if you wouldn’t buy it to hear another woman say it then they aren’t buying it either.  Reach out and treat other women the way you wish they would treat you, be kind and tenderhearted, forgiving each other for past wrongs and determine in your heart to stand up for each other.  We need to stop being each others adversaries and join together to fight for other women who are hurting.  Treat each other the way you would want to be treated, it has to start somewhere, so why not with you and me?
