Psalm 91:2

I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

What do you say of the Lord?  Is He your refuge and strength and the one you trust in when you aren’t sure where to turn? Or do you feel as though God is too busy or you aren’t important enough?  If you continue reading chapter 91 it then goes on to say how He will cover you and protect you and deliver you!  God loves you and wants to be your shelter in times of trouble and He wants to bless you.

It is time to get in agreement with God and what He says!  The Bible says that God so loved the world that He gave His only son.  Sometimes we skim over that like it is for everyone else, not us.  It’s like we know Jesus died on the cross for us but we don’t let it really sink in just how much God loves us to have made that sacrifice.  He didn’t just stop loving us then, he cares about every little thing that  affects you!

What are the desires you have for the people that you love?  Don’t you want the very best for them?  God wants the very best for you even more than you can comprehend.

It is time to develop the habit of speaking victory over your life and over those around you!  Another good habit is to write down the victories along the way in life.  I have a Bible that I have had for about 23 years and even though it is about worn out I love to use it because over the years I have underlined verses that God has given me and written the date next to it.  It is amazing how often I can look at those and remember exactly what was going on at the time and I can understand even more now about what God was doing even through the verses He gave me.  It’s almost like a diary between me and God.    It encourages me and gives me the strength to continue when things get rough and I can look back and see the victories I would quite possibly have forgotten.
