1 Peter 1:3

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

We are living in a day where we all need HOPE and God has promised to be our God of Hope.  He not only has promised hope for eternity, He wants to be your hope for today and tomorrow and every other day that comes your way.  We lose our hope when we rely on ourselves and or others.  People will always fail us and the world is certainly not on the top of the list for providing hope, we need to get back to relying on God for our hope!

There are too many people that feel lost and are looking for the answers to their problems and unfortunately they are looking for answers in all the wrong places.

Remember that old song, “People need the Lord”?  What a great song with a great message.  It really isn’t any more complicated than that, we all need the Lord for every situation.  I know that we are all in a time of struggles like most of us have never seen before, but pray that God will help you to keep your focus and hope in Him!

It is typically when things look the worst and you are at the end of your rope that God will come through.  Satan tries to get in every jab he can to get us to give up and to lose hope as God works in our lives!  He doesn’t want God to get the glory as you have victory in your life so if he can convince you to “curse God and die” as Job’s wife told him then he can spit in God’s face saying I told you she wasn’t strong enough to make it through this trial.  God believes in you and He has told us He will not put on us more than we can bear.   So today I am praying for you that God will give each of you the strength to hold on one more day, one day at a time and that He will pour out His blessing on your life and show you in a mighty way even yet today that He cares and He is still on the throne.  He will provide and He will bless you for your faithfulness!
