Colossians 2:6-7 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
Whatever today brings it has to pass by God first if you are truly living within His will. I have had my share of good and bad days a LOT of the bad days were brought on by my own poor decisions and choices in life but there have been things I know I have gone through because God was allowing it in my life to strengthen me and help me grow.
Now on those days where my circumstances were a direct result of not continuing my life rooted and built up in Christ and I certainly didn’t make the choices I did based on my Christian upbringing I can’t say that I am overwhelmingly grateful to anyone for and I have no one to blame but myself. BUT on the other hand as I look back over my life and see hard times and struggles that I have gone through, for example being a single Mom for 14 years, I am grateful for all God taught me and how it made me stronger.
Life isn’t easy especially if you are on your own path but if you are walking with God and relying on Him you can be thankful for the growth He brings. Be strong and trust him to give you the strength to grow up in Him and to be blessed by His presence.
