1 Peter 2:15
For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.

If you are tired of all of the ignorance and foolishness going on then you need to set an example by living a godly life for others to see! We all need to be real about our walk with God. God doesn’t want you to walk around pretending to be godly, like the Pharisees. He wants you to whole heartedly love and serve Him! He wants to have a real relationship with you! There are so many people protesting different things it is difficult to keep up with it all and they need someone to be a godly example! Just think of how much good they could do if they would do something right instead of spending all of their time worried about how they can protest or sue someone for offending them! Here is our opportunity to be the example!

I love Matthew West’s song, “Do Something” and it has been refreshing to me to hear how the church has really stepped up with all of the tragedies from the hurricanes over the last couple months! The church has done more than the government has been able to do and that is how it should be! We are called to be His hands and feet! We are to be a light in the darkness! It’s time for us to do something! It is time for us to show the world that there is hope for what they face in life and that hope if found in Jesus Christ! We need to stand up and live for Him in a way that will draw others to Him! We need to show His love and stand for what is right all at the same time! Just think of all the good that could be done if people put there money where their mouth is when they protest ~ if they would use some of their money to do good in the world instead of just complaining. Let’s face it, you draw to you what you focus on! It’s just like driving down the road, you have to keep your eyes focused on where you are going, it is a proven fact that if you focus long enough on something on the side of the road you will start to drift in that direction and so it is in life. What you focus on is where you are going to go. Focus on God! Focus on what you can do to make a positive change, instead of what someone else may say of do to offend you.

You cannot expect that the “best is yet to come’ if you are focused on the negative!
