Psalm 9:9-10  The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.  And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.

When you are going through some of the toughest times in life Satan will try to convince you that you are on your own, that God doesn’t really listen or care, those are lies straight from Hell.  Do not allow Satan to kick you when you are down.  Hold onto scripture verses like these and when those thoughts come to mind rebuke them and repeat the verses out loud.  You are more than a conqueror in Jesus!

When you are feeling alone and you are struggling take comfort in knowing that God is your stronghold.  (stronghold = a place that is fortified or that can easily be defended)  He is there for you even when you feel all alone or you feel as though things will never get better.  Know that He has a plan, that has not changed and He needs you to trust Him with your whole heart.  He will bring it to pass, this situation did not come to stay, it came to pass!  He loves you so much, he would never just ignore you so when you are waiting know that He is working.  Sometimes there’s a lot more that needs to come together for your situation with people and other circumstances that you don’t know about so you have to trust Him even when you cannot see what is going on!

Yes, there’s  a lot going on in the world right now but God, the God who created every little detail of the universe can handle it all!  Your distress has not escaped His notice and He will prevail in your situation if you have faith.  Put all of your trust in HIm and rest  in His stronghold of love and compassion for you knowing that He will take care of it all!
