There’s a Time For Everything

by | Jun 19, 2013

Ecclesiastes 3:1   For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.

Have you been feeling as though this season of life is here forever?  Have you felt as though you may never laugh, rejoice or dance again?  Then it is time to remind yourself that “this too shall pass” – this season of life will pass and you will be stronger and rejoice on the other side.

As you continue reading this chapter it says:

a time to be born, and a time to die

a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;

a time to kill, and a time to heal;

a time to break down and a time to build up

a time to weep, and a time to laugh;

a time to mourn, and a time to dance,

a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;

a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

a time to seek and a time to lose;

a time to keep and a time to cast away,

a time to tear, and a time to sew;

a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

a time to love and a time to hate;

a time for war, and a time for peace

What “time” are you in right now?  Don’t lose hope if it has been a while since you saw the positive side of this because that means your time is coming.  Hold onto the good, embrace the time for growth because most of our individual growth comes from the struggles in life unless we rebel in the struggle instead of turning to God.  Look toward your time that is coming to laugh and dance and to be healed, a time for peace and embracing.  God isn’t finished with your future yet and He does bring balance to all that we face.  We will not stay in the state we are in forever.

Quote:  “Wherever you choose to go, go there with all your heart.”
