2 Thessalonians 3:3. But the Lord is faithful.  He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.

Now before anyone thinks this is an encouragement to jump into just anything, of course, it isn’t! BUT, is there a daunting task in front of you that has you almost paralyzed with fear of stepping out in faith?  Has satan been taunting you, making you feel as though there is just no way you can or should do what God seems to be calling you to?

God is faithful and if He is leading you into something, He will see you through!  He won’t ask you to do something and then leave you hanging if you are truly following Him!  Remember, satan is the father of lies and he hates you!  He will do his best to discourage you and make you feel like you are alone to keep you from following God’s plan because God’s plan is always to lead you into His best for your life!  He often even tries to twist scripture, to hold you back or discourage you!

If you want to truly feel established and secure then you have to trust God with all that He is putting before you?  Remember Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and courageous.  Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”  Just as God was with Joshua, He will be with you in what He is asking you to do!  You serve the same God and He is faithful!  Don’t allow satan to fill your head with lies!  Pray for God to constantly reveal the truth to you and to guide you so you don’t make a mistake!  He loves you and wants you to succeed in all that He created you to do, so trust Him!  

If it seems like a tremendous leap of faith to step out, but you know that this is what He is calling you to do, then jump!  Go after it with all you’ve got!  Don’t hold anything back!  Have you ever watched a small child jump into their Dad’s arms in a pool?  Jump with that kind of faith, knowing He’s got you and He isn’t going to let you fall!  Pour yourself into His word and ask Him to guide your every step and then rest in Him, knowing that He will get you through this, struggles, and all and you will be so much better for it on the other side!  His best is yet to come!  It’s worth the fight.  We all want to think that His best is going to just fall into our laps, but in most cases, we have to strive for what is good and right, but you don’t have to do it alone!  He’s got you!
