Where Can You Find The Hope, Faith And Encouragement You Need Today

Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Are you needing some direction today? Maybe in this crazy world we live in today you are just in need of some hope! Are you feeling a bit fearful today with all that is going on? Are you about to give up on something in your life that you have fought for for so long you just don’t see any point any more?

Don’t stop, don’t give up and certainly don’t lose hope! If you don’t have any hope today as you are reading this hold on! Keep reading, God wants to fill you with His joy and hope today! Where can we find answers today? The American government certainly doesn’t seem to have any, the world seems to be going to Hell in a handbasket! But! That isn’t God’s final answer or we wouldn’t still be here! God called you to have hope! He called you to have faith in Him and all He can and will do!

Psalm 42:5, “Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation.” Focus on Him, He is your salvation, He is your hope in time of need. He is The one and only answer for all you may be facing! Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” AND don’t forget, Hebrews 4:16, “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Go with confidence today to God’s throne ~ the throne of the one and only true God! The God who loves you and sent His son to die for you! His Holy Spirit dwells within you if you have accepted Him as you Savior ~ that same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead! Is what you are facing tougher than raising someone from the dead? Then take hope today that nothing is impossible for God!

As it says in Genesis 18:14a, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” The Lord asked Abraham that when He heard Sarah laugh after He said she would have a baby when she was in her 90’s. Don’t give Sarah too hard of a time, I would probably laugh too if I were told I was going to have a baby and I was that old ~ actually I would probably cry my eyes out! But, this is a different day and I have had 3 children and now have 6 grandchildren with 2 more on the way ~ I am blessed enough, a baby at 90 if I make it there isn’t a desire of mine! God does have a sense of humor though so we are not going to tempt Him and we know from having watched Sarah, it was not an impossible task for Him! So! On that note if you are wanting to have a baby, believe with all the confidence in the world that it isn’t too difficult for God to bring you that baby you desire! His timing is perfect and He knows your heart to raise child up for Him! Trust Him, pray and then just believe in His goodness and timing!

2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power , and of love and of a sound mind.” You don’t have to be fearful today no matter what is going on! God is still on the throne! I do believe He gave us brains to be careful and take the necessary precautions to be safe, but He doesn’t want you to walk around cowering in fear! You have the power of God within you! He wants you to walk in His confidence and His love and when you allow the Holy Spirit to guide and direct you then you will have His sound mind about all that comes your way!

Let me close with this verse, Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” You can have His perfect peace today, just focus on Him and trust Him. Listen to some praise and worship music and remember who He is! Spend time in His word, that is how He can shed His light on your path. Allow Him to guide you one step at a time and truly you will find the best is yet to come!
