Galatians 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

If you have accepted Christ as your Savior then with the Holy Spirit residing within you, you already possess these.  The fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control so whatever you are struggling with you already have the ability living within you to have victory.  The key is that we need to exercise these things so we can grow into them.

The more we allow the Holy Spirit to rule and reign in our lives the more of the fruits of His existence in our lives will be noticeable.  Either you decide to rule with your flesh like the verses state before this one:  (19-21)” Now the works of the flesh are evident:  sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these”  or you decide to allow the Holy Spirit to direct your walk.  The thing to remember is that if you choose to do your own thing it is sin and if we choose to live a life that is sin it is rebellion.

God has already placed within you the ability to have victory in any area of your life that you are struggling.  If you can’t seem to find your way find someone to walk with you and encourage you.  It is easier to learn how to walk right if we have someone walking by our side supporting the changes we are trying to make.  God loves you and wants you to have success that is why He has placed the ability to do that already in you.  Pray and ask God for His strength to do what is right.  Ask Him to show you who you need to walk with you.  Maybe you need a good “life coach” and you can find one in your area by going to www.aacc.net there is a place on their website where you can type in your zipcode and you can find a Christian counselor in your area.

Don’t allow Satan to have another day of holding you back from all the success that God has for you!  Choose to allow the Holy Spirit to rule and reign in your life completely!  Success is yours for the choosing!
