2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

You don’t have to wait for New Year’s Day to have a new beginning! Today is a new day, fresh, with no mistakes in it! Why not make a new beginning today! What is it that you know you need to change? Why not start today! You don’t have to be chained down by those old sins and addictions, give them to God today! Ask Him to give you victory and freedom for anything that has held you back from being all God created you to be! Confess you sins to those you have sinned against and ask for forgiveness and begin your new life today!

Are there things you want to change? I am totally revamping the way I eat! I have a stack of books and a magazine sitting here on the table that I have been reading and I want to feel great again and I know that health begins with what you are eating, so it’s time for change! I could wait until January 1st, but why? Why put off something that you can do today that will benefit you or someone you love?

Is your marriage in need of a “makeover”? Has that flame gone out? Have one or both of you been unfaithful? Do yourself a favor and find a professional counselor to walk through it all with you! If you aren’t sure where to find one, you can go to the American Association of Christian Counselors website at www.aacc.net and find one there in your area. Don’t try walking through this alone and make sure that the person or persons you go to are qualified to help with what you are dealing with. If you are just going through a dull patch in your marriage, a life coach or mentor may help, but if you are dealing with infidelity or other serious issues then you need a qualified Psychiatrist who specializes in marriage! Don’t sell yourself or your marriage short!

Is there something you have always wanted to start doing? Maybe crochet or start a Bible Study, or maybe volunteer at a nursing home or orphanage; what is it that you have had on your heart to do? What are you waiting for? Don’t wait for the 1st of January! Get started today!

Whatever it is that you need to change, or confess, or work on, or start, get going! Don’t put it off until the 1st! You don’t need one more binge day! Allow the “new” into your life today! Pour yourself into being all that God created you to be! If you haven’t committed to changing anything in your life, or don’t really feel the need at this stage of your life, may I suggest spending more time alone with God? We can never have too much focused alone time with Him! ~ The best is yet to come!
